Solution:

Equilateral triangle is a triangle for which all the three sides are equal.

Given: Length of the side of the equilateral triangle = 6 cm

Area = ?

Area of equilateral triangle = (√3/4) a² square.units

So, Area = (√3/4) × 6² cm²

Area = (√3/4) × 36 cm²

Area = √3 × 9 cm²

Area = 9√3 cm²

So, the correct option is 4). 9√3 sq.cm
