Let marked price = Rs. $100x$

After 25% discount, selling price = $\frac{75}{100} \times 100x =$ Rs. 75x

Let Cost price = Rs. $y  $

=> Profit $% = \frac{75x - y}{y} \times 100 = 25$

=> $\frac{75x - y}{y} = \frac{25}{100} = \frac{1}{4}$

=> $300x - 4y = y$

=> $y = \frac{300x}{5} = Rs. 60x$

If, discount $= 10%$, => Selling price $= \frac{90}{100} \times 100x = $Rs. 90x

\therefore Profit % $= \frac{90x - 60x}{60x}$ \times $100$

$= \frac{1}{2}$ \times $100 = 50$ %
