There was a man who had four sons.He (71) his sons to learn not to judge things too quickly. Solution

B,C airplane and expedition can be eliminated as they cannot precede by article'a'. Requested can also be eliminated as it doesnt succeed the article 'a'( an article cannot be preceded by a verb). Hence, between A & D, A is correct as the person didnt send the sons on pilgrimage.Hence, A
