Efficiency ratio of Asif and Bashir = 2 : 1

So, Ratio of time taken by Asif and Bashir = 1 : 2

Let Asif finish the work in x days and Bashir finish the same work in 2x days

According the question,

1/x + 1/2x = 1/30

⇒ 3/2x = 1/30

⇒ x = 3/2 × 30

⇒ x = 45 days

∴ Asif will alone finish the work in 45 days

According the question,

1/x + 1/2x = 1/30

⇒ 3/2x = 1/30
