In the following question, a sentence has been given in Active/Passive voice. Out of four alternatives suggested, select the one which best expresses the same sentence in Passive/Active voice. 

The board of directors has granted him a vacation.

A vacation has granted to him by the board of directors.


2). He has been granted a vacation by the board of directors.

Correct Answer: He has been granted a vacation by the board of directors.

Sentence 1 is missing ‘been’, while Sentence 3 and 4 change the tense of the active voice (present to past). Only Sentence 2 preserves the tense and the form and is the correct answer.
