We've already been told that A is the first sentence. It introduces the main subject of the story- the Clark family and their dream to travel to the United States.$

The next in order is F$ as it introduces the second plot-point and logically advances the story. It tells us that while it took them many years, the Clarks finally managed to save enough money to afford a trip to the United States.

comes next as it introduces the next turn in the plot- the youngest son comes down with measles.

The fourth sentence is B. It tells us what happens immediately after the youngest son falls ill- the Clarks are quarantined for fourteen days.

is the fifth sentence. It tells us what follows after the Clarks are quarantined- their dreams are shattered as they are unable to visit the United States.

Thus, the correct answer is Option 3, i.e., D.
