Some parts of the sentence have errors and some are correct. Find out which part has an error and mark that part as your answer. If there are no errors, mark 'No error' as your answer. I am going on leave since the 1st of January till the 25th of the month.

We should use 'from' to show the starting point only when the end point is also mentioned. In other cases, we  use 'since', and in the given sentence since both are known we need to use 'from', so it should be ' from the 1st of January', thus option 2 has the error.
