Mayank, Deepak and Pawan, each them working alone can complete a work in 5, 10 and 15 days respectively. If all three of them work together to complete a work and earn Rs. 11,000, What will be Deepak’s share of the earnings?

Mayank, Deepak and Pawan, each them working alone can complete a work in 5, 10 and 15 days respectively. If all three of them work together to complete a work and earn Rs. 11,000, What will be Deepak’s share of the earnings?

From the given data,

Mayank one day work = 1/5

Deepak one day work = 1/10

Pawan one day work = 1/15

Mayank share : Deepak share : Pawan share = (1/5 ? 1/10 ? 1/15) x 30 = 6 ? 3 ? 2

∴ Deepak's share = (3 × 11000)/11 = 3000
