Time taken by A = 18 days

Time taken by B = 24 days

Time taken by A, B and C = 8 days

Let Total work = LCM of 18, 24 and 8 = 72 units

Efficiency of A = 72/18 = 4 units/day

Efficiency of B = 72/24 = 3 units/day

Efficiency of A, B and C together = 72/8 = 9 units/day

Efficiency of C = Total efficiency - Efficiency of (A + B)

Efficiency of C = 9 - (4 + 3) = 9 - 7 = 2 units/day

Work done by C = 2 × 8 = 16 units

For 72 units they get = Rs. 30960

1 unit = Rs. 430

∴ C’s salary = 16 × 430 = Rs. 6880
