Time taken by 4 men to build a small house = 12 days

⇒ Time taken by one man to build a small house = 12 × 4 = 48 days

⇒ Time taken by 6 men to build the same house = 48/6 = 8 days

∴ Time taken by one man to build the same house = 8 days
