Total marked price of 4 pair of gloves and 6 jackets = (4 × 400) + (250 × 6)

⇒ 1600 + 1500 = Rs. 3100

According to the question:

Total selling price = $(\left( {1600 \times \frac{{85}}{{100}}} \right) + \left( {1500 \times \frac{{75}}{{100}}} \right))$= 1360 + 1125 = Rs. 2485

Required discount % = $(\left( {\frac{{3100 - 2485}}{{3100}}} \right) \times 100{\rm{}} = {\rm{}}20{\rm{\% \;}})$ (Approx)
