The correct word is 'disorientation.' The other words don't make any sense in context of both the sentences. Disorientation means 'the condition of having lost one's sense of direction.'

Adherence: attachment or commitment to a person, cause, or belief.

Detest: feel contempt or a deep repugnance for.

Abomination: a thing that causes disgust or loathing.

Despise: feel contempt or a deep repugnance for.
