$(Average = \frac{{sum}}{{Number\;of\;terms}})$

⇒ Sum = Average × Number of terms

Let the sum of other six numbers be x, then as per question

Sum of 9 numbers = Sum of 3 numbers + sum of other 6 numbers

⇒ 100 × 9 = 40 × 3 + x

⇒ x = 900 – 120 = 780

∴ Average of other six numbers = 780/6 = 130
