The correct words are:

Intransigence=> stubborn refusal to compromise or change$

Burgeon=> grow and flourish$

Perfunctory=> carried out without real interest, feeling, or effort.$

Contortion=> a bent position or shape$

Thus option 4 is the correct answer.$
