Correct Option - 2

Option 1 is incorrect because 'apart' is used when we indicate separation from a certain space or company. For example, 'The couple lived apart for a few years' is correct because it indicates separation with respect to company (the company of each other) and space (physical separation). Here, the separation is occurring between a man and a building which is an inanimate object.

Option 3 is used to indicate a higher quantity and it doesn't fit here.

Option 4 is also used to indicate a higher quantity which cannot be counted and it does not fit the context here because walking cannot be quantified.

Option 2 is correct because 'away' is used to indicate separation from a place and here that place is the building.

Thus the correct sentence is: 'He walked away from the building briskly'.
