That is, 3 A = B, replacing 3 A in place of B, we get 

3 A – A = 60 days 

A = 30 days, i.e. A alone can finish the work in 30 days 

Then, B alone can finish the work in 3 ×30 = 90 days 

Therefore, working together they can finish it in 30 × 90/ 120 days. = 22 ½ days.
