Solution

Average temperature of the town in first six days

= Sum of the temperature in first six days / 6

Let us take sixth day's temperature as 'x'.

Given : Average temperature in 6 days = 410C

Sum of the temperature of the first five days = 2010C

Substituting the given values in the above equation we get,

$410C = ( 2010C + x ) / 6$

$2010C + x = 410C × 6$

$2010C + x = 2460C$

$x = 2460C - 2010C$

$x = 410C$

So, the temperature on the sixth day is $410C$.

The correct option is 2).450C
