? We cut cuboid along length, breadth and height

∴ The length, breadth and height of new cuboid will be half,

∴ The length of new cuboid L = 50/2 = 25 cm

⇒ Breadth B = 40/2 = 20 cm

⇒ Height H = 30/2 = 15 cm

Total surface area of all the 8 parts of the cuboid

= 8 × 2(LB + BH + HL)

= 16 × (25 × 20 + 20 × 15 + 15 × 25)

= 16 × (500 + 300 + 375)

= 16 × 1175 = 18800 cm2
