Work done by A in 1 day = 1/18th of total work

Work done by B in 1 day = 1/36th of total work

If the work together for 9 days, % of work left by them can be written as

⇒ [1 - 9 × {(1/18) + 1/36}] × 100

⇒ (1 - 1/2 - 1/4) × 100 = 100/4 = 25%

∴ The percentage of work left by them is 25%
