Let the numbers be 3x and 3y.
3x + 3y = 36
x + y = 12 ... (i)
and 3xy = 105 ... (ii)
Dividing equation (i) by (ii), we have
$\frac{x}{3xy}+\frac{y}{3xy}=\frac{12}{105}$
$\frac{1}{3y}+\frac{1}{3x}=\frac{4}{35}$
