Read the following passage carefully and answer the questions given below it. Certain words have been highlighted for your attention.

Justin's mother had set down the house rules easily. Just the most coldhearted individual would have neglected to see - no tattoos and no body piercings. All things considered, the day Justin turned 18, he misled his mom about where he was going, went straight to the tattoo parlor, as though impenetrable to his mom's fury.

He got a light blue heart carved on his arm. Over this masterpiece, the word ‘Blessed’ was written. No, Justin was not moronic, but rather he was resolute. Elaine considered this to be a demonstration of sheer resistance. She was exasperated, her outrage exacerbated by the way that Justin had breezed into the house, discovered her in the kitchen, removed his shirt with a grin, and stated, Got it. No, Justin. Oh my goodness what you have, Elaine said irately. You have five minutes to go upstairs and get your backpack. I'm taking you to Grandpa.

Elaine pulled up to her dad's house and left him there. Just after 10 minutes, her mobile phone rang. Elaine, have you lost it? You are kicking a boy who is as good as him out of the house for a tattoo – that says ‘Blessed’, no less? Her dad asked, distrustful. You will miss him to such an extent. Come and lift this young fellow up. Elaine, having grown up obeying her father’s request came back. Justin was shockingly remorseful. Sorry for being so impolite, Mom, he said truly. I will attempt to take after house rules starting now and into the foreseeable future.

The correct answer is option 4, i.e. kind.

The word ‘coldhearted’ refers to a person who lacks kindness or sympathy. Hence, the opposite of ‘coldhearted’ will be ‘kind’.
