Speed of the train relative to the man = (150/15) m/sec = 10 m/s

⇒ Speed of the train relative to the man = (10 × 18/5) = 36 km/hr

Let the speed of the train be x km/hr. Then, relative speed = (x – 7) km/hr

⇒ x – 7 = 36

∴ x = 43 km/hr
