It is given that , x : y = 4 : 3 ----------->1
After 6 years, Arun's age would be ( x+ 6 ) and
Deepak's age would be ( y + 6)
It is also given that , x + 6 = 26
x = 26 - 6
x = 20
Substituting the value of x in 1 we get
20 / y = 4/3
y = 20 × 3/4
y = 60/ 4
y = 15
So, Deepak's present age is 15 years
