In each of the questions below are given three statements followed by four conclusions numbered I, II, III and IV. You have to take the given statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance from commonly known facts. Read all the conclusions and then decide which of the given conclusions logically follows from the given statements disregarding commonly known facts.

Statements: Some trees are flowers. Some roads are flowers.
All roads are vehicles.
Conclusions:
I. Some vehicles are trees
II. Some vehicles are flowers
III. Some roads are trees
IV. All vehicles are roads
1). None follows
2). Only I and II follows
3). Only II follows
4). Only I, III and IV follow

It is given that , 

I some trees are flowers ,

II some roads are flowers and 

III all roads are vehicles ( So, road = vehicle )

Combining 2nd and 3rd statement we get , Some vehicles are flowers 

By using the information from above statements, we can  find out which conclusions follow the statements.

Clearly it is not I and III conclusions because, roads and vehicles are not related to trees.

Conclusion IV is also not correct because all roads are vehicles does not mean all vehicles are roads.

So, the correct answer is 3). Only II follows
