Time taken by Manju alone to complete the work = 16 days

Time taken by Manju and Jenny to complete the work when they work together = 12 days

Total work = L. C. M of 16 and 12 = 48 units

One day work of Manju = 48 ÷ 16 = 3 units

One day work of Manju and Jenny = 48 ÷ 12 = 4 units

∴ one day work of Jenny = 1 unit

Time taken by Jenny alone to complete the work = 48 ÷ 1 = 48 days
