11 days

1 ¾ = 7/4

7/4 A = B, replacing B by 7/4 A, we get

A × 7/4 A/ A + 7/4 A = 7days

7 A × A/4 / 11A/4 = 7 A × A/ 11 A = 7A /11 = 7

A = 77/7 = 11, So, A alone can finish the work in 11 days.
